Is this portable? No. Not at all. While it can be disassembled and moved, this item is designed to stay together once assembled

How much weight will this support? It will easily support 2 or 3 very large people.

Construction: Almost all the wood is 2X6 lumber. The base is 2X6 lumber sandwhiched between plywood. More about the wood used.

Delivery and assembly: This ships via UPS in 2 boxes sized to fit through standard doors. It will NOT arrive in a thousand pieces. It actually comes in just 4 large pieces
Basic assembly is required and typically takes about 30 - 45 minutes.
