Is this portable? No. While it can be disassembled and moved, it is not really designed to be portable
How much weight will this support? It will easily support 2 or 3 very large people.
Construction: legs are made of 1X8 and 1X6 lumber. Side and end rails are 1X8 lumber. cage is made of 2X2 lumber and metal bars. Cushions have an OSB backing with 2X2 lumber for added support. More about the wood used.
Delivery and assembly: This ships via UPS in 4 boxes sized to fit through standard doors. It will NOT arrive in a thousand pieces. You will receive: 4 fully assembled legs, 2 assembled side rails, 2 assembled end rails, 4 assembled cage panels with door installed, 3 top cushions
Basic assembly is required and typically takes 45 minutes to an hour.
