What they’re for: Very wide posture collars and neck corsets are designed to limit neck movement, encourage upright presentation, and support protocol or training scenes where a firm, immobile posture is desired. They’re excellent for photographs, display, and controlled roleplay where a rigid look is part of the experience.
Fit & Sizing Tips
- Measure at the base of the neck; the strap should allow two fingers beneath it when fastened.
- Center the collar so the jawline sits comfortably above the top edge; keep the chin neutral, not forced up.
- For tall collars, tighten evenly from bottom to top for balanced pressure.
- Acclimate gradually: begin with short wear intervals and increase time as comfort allows.
Safety
These are posture tools, not breath-control devices. Avoid pressure on the throat or the sides of the neck (carotid areas). Check skin frequently; remove immediately if there is numbness, tingling, dizziness, or pain. Use by mutual consent and never leave anyone unattended.
